After exploring various alternatives we were confident that providing a unified system to aid elderly people to get their essential needs without stepping out, helps them to maintain their health(including mental health), improve their quality of life as it is very crucial during extended lockdown Our solution “JOY(Acute Comprehensive Care)” is a proactive-voice based personal assistant help families to care for their loved ones without being there in person during this pandemic situation.

During lockdown social isolation and fear often leads to various mental and physical traumas to elderly people like heart attacks and strokes, depression etc. Now by interacting with JOY and regular medicines would help them to improve mood and emotional health. One of the main concern that the elderly were facing was to depend on others to get their daily essentials.
