Communicate-IN
Project Summary
Problem Identified
Poor communication at the time of crisis becomes a breeding ground for misinformation, misconceptions, and rumors that build fear, distrust, and confusion among the masses, this has a huge direct impact upon disease control. With the ever-changing nature of the virus and the constant string of new information about the pandemic, information management, and delivery have become major tasks. The need for effective communication and information delivery that is continuous, consistent, and credible is now more important than ever. Clear communication is crucial in the time of pandemics to controlling the spread of disease.
Design Innovation
Our solution is to repurpose existing core websites like the MoHFW.gov.in to become the central source for credible and relevant information where citizens can be redirected to, to check the latest updates on the COVID information, government guidelines (tailored to their location), and fact check corona news along with reporting misinformation. The website is the central source from which all other media sources can cite.
Impact On The Society
The website constantly updates new information so the citizens get the latest news. Having a central organized communication channel that posts credible information consistently helps fight the spread of misinformation, builds trust, and helps manage the pandemic effectively.
